Medica 235 AS

An anti-slip faux leather made expressly for hospital use.

Technical parameters:
The material weight is 235 g/m². The faux leather is made with a PU coating and PES backing. The width of the material is 150 or 220 cm. The average roll length is: 50-100 metres. The faux leather is biocompatible, antibacterial, MRSA-resistant, mould-resistant, flame-retardant, UV-resistant, sweat-proof, watertight, breathable, washable at 95°C and sterilisable at 134°C. Backing properties:
The material is made with a PES-knit backing, allowing it to dry quickly and age less in moist environments.

Optional features:
Unique colours: The faux leather can be ordered with the colour of your choice based on the Pantone range of colours or colour samples. In this case, the factory will first create a lab sample and production will only start once the sample has been approved.
Laminating: Both lamination with PUR or PE foam – with or without covering –  and lamination with other materials, including in the form of a multilayered product, are available as options. For more information about lamination options, please click here.
