A nonwoven textile made with a thermal bonding process. It can be used to make furniture, clothing industry articles and duvets.
Depending on the field it is used for, we recommend either the harder or the softer quality filling.
The advantage of the softer, so-called duvet filling is that it gives products made from it a softer feel (duvets, coats). The harder version, on the other hand, provides a more rigid form, and is for that reason the one usually used for upholstery.
The nonwoven filling itself is washable (so long as the cover material does not prohibit it), and dries exceptionally fast. In order to prevent fibres from sticking out – in the event that the cover material is not woven densely enough – we recommend using PP nonwoven fabric as an intermediary material.
It can be ordered with various consistencies: 100% PES, cotton/PES, wool/PES.
The mass of the filling material is 70-400 g/m2. The width of the rolls may be between 150 and 200 cm. The length is variable depending on the mass of the product.
Most common sizes:
- weight: 100 g/m2, width: 200 cm, roll length: 70 lm, roll weight: 14 kg.
- weight: 200 g/m2, width: 200 cm, roll length: 35 lm, roll weight: 14 kg.
